Paula Patton is an actress and producer best known for her roles as a lead actress in the action film Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol and the romantic film Precious. She was born into a middle-class household in Los Angeles, she harboured big dreams as a child. She was raised by her mother, who was a fan of movies. Paula participated in co-curricular school activities and was particularly interested in acting. Her favorite part was acting in stage plays along with her peers. After performing in a variety of performances at the high school of Hamilton Magnet Arts High School She decided to pursue acting her profession. She was part of the University of Southern Cal's summer camp, and loved the experience to death. The program awarded her a 3-month contract producing documentaries on behalf of PBS. She began her career as a television production assistant when she completed this assignment. She then moved to produce documentaries. Her work was rewarding however, she always wanted to pursue a career as an actor. Her acting journey began with a small role in the romantic comedy film Hitch along with Will Smith. In the years since, she has been in numerous film and television series.
